Advantages of Industrial Glucose

In the water treatment field, the application of industrial glucose is becoming increasingly widespread, especially liquid glucose, which offers several significant advantages over solid glucose:

Cost Advantage: Liquid glucose is made from starch through incomplete acid or enzymatic hydrolysis. Its manufacturing process is simpler than that of solid glucose, making it more affordable and reducing costs for water treatment companies. For example, in large-scale wastewater treatment plants, using liquid glucose as a carbon source can save considerable procurement costs in the long run.

Convenient Transportation: Solid glucose is usually packaged in bags, requiring extensive manual handling during loading and unloading, which is not only cumbersome but also prone to damage. Liquid glucose, transported by tank trucks, can be easily pumped into wastewater tanks upon arrival, significantly saving labor costs and improving work efficiency. For water treatment plants located in remote areas, using liquid glucose reduces labor and time costs during transportation.

High Safety: Liquid glucose is transported in tank trucks, effectively avoiding problems such as product moisture absorption in harsh weather conditions. In contrast, solid glucose is prone to clumping and spoilage if exposed to rain or humidity during transportation or storage, affecting its effectiveness. For example, during the rainy season in southern China, the transportation and storage of liquid glucose are not affected by the weather, thus better ensuring product quality.
